Movie of the Week - Jack the Giant Slayer


If you enjoyed the fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk" while growing up, then you might want to check out this movie when it hits theaters March 1st. Jack the Giant Slayer is a fantasy/adventure film loosely based on the fairy tales "Jack and the Beanstalk" and "Jack the Giant Killer". Directed by Bryan Singer, this film stars talented actors including Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, and Stanley Tucci.


The film begins when Jack (Nicholas Hoult), a young farmer, accidentally opens a gateway to the Giant world and now the Giants want to take over their world and claim it as their own. This reignites the ancient war between humans and giants.


Now Jack must fight against the Giants not only to rescue the princess (Eleanor Tomlinson) who has been kidnapped, but also to save the kingdom and his own life from the Giants.

Movie of the Week - Identity Theft


Looking for a good laugh? Well, Identity Theft is sure to get some laughs out of you. In this comedy, Sandy (Jason Bateman) gets his identity stolen by con artist Diana (Melissa McCarthy) and he must go through some extreme measures to get his identity back.


Diana is in Florida having the time of her life and buying everything that crosses her sight under the name of Sandy Patterson. Meanwhile, the real Sandy is back in Denver and he has no idea that his identity has been stolen. Not until the cops come looking for him because he missed his court date in Florida does he realize what has happened. 


With only one week to catch this thief, Sandy travels all the way to Florida to capture Diane and get his identity back.

Movie of the Week - Beautiful Creatures



Don't have any Valentine's Day plans this year and want to get out of the house? Consider going to see this movie when it hits theaters February 14th. 

Beautiful Creatures is a movie based on the first novel of the best selling series by the authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. It is a supernatural love story starring Ethan Wate (Alden Ehrenreich) and Lena Duchannes (Alice Englert).


Ethan lives in the small, southern town of Gatlin. Nothing exciting ever happens in Gatlin, so Ethan is bored of his town and he wants to explore the world. However, Gatlin finally gets some excitement when a new girl arrives in town.


Lena is a mysterious girl who appears to have some kind of powerful powers. Everyone is scared of Lena and they stay away from her. Everyone except Ethan. Together, Ethan and Lena discover dark secrets about their families and their town.

Movie of the Week - Warm Bodies


Are you a zombie lover? Or are you just looking for a good movie to watch this weekend? Either way you're in luck! Warm bodies is a zombie movie you won't want to miss.


A zombie named R (Nicholas Hoult) is one of the many people who has been infected by the zombie plague that divided the earth between zombies and humans. However, R is not you're typical flesh eating zombie. He seems to have something that most zombies lack, a heart.


When R sees that Julie (Teresa Palmer) is in trouble, he goes to her rescue and saves her. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies and as the two spend more time together, R becomes more and more human.


This movie has something for everyone. It is a comedy/horror/romance movie you will not want to miss out on. Warm Bodies is now playing in theaters, so go check it out!
